Mina Ahmad-Crosby began writing stories at a young age. She is a child of immigrants from the Caribbean who converted to Islam during her infancy. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University, where she spent a year studying in Cairo, Egypt. She received Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and active in her local Jack and Jill of America chapter. A native of Maryland, she lives outside of Phoenix, Arizona with her loving husband and two children.
